The Pre-Paid Legal opportunity has been a true blessing for us. It couldn't have come into our lives at a better time. We owned and operated a property and casualty insurance agency for 15 years when in 1996 we became Pre-Paid Legal Associates. That same year, two major hurricanes hit our small coastal town of Swansboro, North Carolina. With millions of dollars in property claims, our insurance companies began to limit the amount of property insurance we could write. Two years later, two more major hurricanes again hit our home town and insurance companies began to pull out of our agency, and those that remained stopped writing any new business due to the losses in our "high risk" area.

Thanks to Pre-Paid Legal. We no longer work in the insurance business and never felt such freedom.

We found Pre-Paid Legal by accident. Someone dropped off a brochure and an audio at our insurance office. Several weeks later, Barbara looked at it and thought it was an awesome product. She asked Joe to look at it and check into the credibility of the company. Joe listened to the tape and was immediately ready to roll!

Our lifestyle has changed quite a bit. We now have the freedom to work when we want and play when we want, not when someone else wants us to. More important, we have a vehicle to help others have this same freedom. We have been able to extensively remodel our home, purchase two new cars in one year, buy stock, purchase real estate, and invest in our future while paying cash for all of it.
